This is just a local spot, almost a dive. Their AC doesn't work very well - so it's a little on the warm side in the summer, but I still enjoy stopping in! They have a GREAT Club Sandwich! They make it with turkey AND ham, and you can get freshly house-made potato chips with it. That is my favorite thing that they serve. They also have fries, if you prefer. I have also tried their burgers - which were also very good. I'm pretty sure we had breakfast at least once, and it was fine. The staff have been there a while, and all of them are friendly and really great. Stop in for an authentic diner experience!

Great food. Connected to the Rum Runner bar so kind of a bar atmosphere mixed with old school diner. Not fancy decor but good food at a great price and quick friendly service!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - we ordered the daily special of Pot Roast and a Farmer's Breakfast with over easy eggs and chicken fried steak. The pot roast was tender but the sauce was a bit gloopy and thick. The mashed potatoes were good but the green beans flavorless and soggy. We're not quite sure what the soup of the day was but we know it wasn't good. The Farmer's Breakfast was good but the steak was a bit over and dry. The toast was EXTREMELY buttered which was great for one of us. Ambience: 4/5 - attached to a Rum Runner gaming place, we were a bit hesitant to walk into the little shop. However, it was quite cozy inside but the tables are packed together! The location does seem a bit more run down though. Service: 5/5 - friendly and attentive and made some recommendations on the menu. Value for price: 4/5 - cheap and quick eat for any hour of the day!

What a great little 24 hour greasy diner! It's connected to the Rum Runner gaming place so it's open 24 hours. BTW - they have wifi. I got the Philly Supreme sandwich ($8.99) with a side of au jus and fries with ranch and the sandwich was really good. In my opinion it could have been a bit bigger but it was enough and the sun jus added that extra something that made it awesome. The fries were really good too. We also got some of their beer battered onion rings which were really good. My girlfriend like me mine so good she ordered another one of these for the road. My girlfriend got the breakfast burrito ($7.49) and it also was really good but a little heavy on the oil. To sum it up, the food is good and the prices are low a 5 star experience!

On our way outta town and didn't eat breakfast... enter Yelp and Badger Cafe. After Vegas and all the money drains a 1 dollar sign restaurant was just what we needed before we headed on out. Our waitress steered us in the right direction, I was between 2 items and she suggested the breakfast burrito for me and my BF was between 2 and she suggested the Philly cheesesteak for him. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito, it was tasty, but it was a bit greasy for my sensitive stomach. My boyfriend's Philly cheesesteak was the showstopper though. It's sliced angus beef with mushrooms, onions and green peppers and was seriously so good! He also ordered it with a side of au jus. So good in fact that I ordered a 2nd lunch and got that after my breakfast burrito. Yummy! Sides we had were French fries and onion rings, both served fresh, hot and really tasty. Prices are great and super reasonable. Boyfriend got coke which was really tasty and I got coffee which was okay. Food is served piping hot! Would definitely come back and would ask for it dryer, less oil, for my tummy but yes, will come back.

Looking for sandwich place led to me finding Badger Cafe on Yelp. The place was a typical old-school type diner / coffee shop; nothing special and nothing to complain about in terms of the interiors. Parking was a non-issue so that's always good. We got the spicy pastrami sandwich and tuna salad sandwich both on rye with fries. I had asked for no mayo on my bread but, sadly, this wasn't followed. The tuna was alright; I had to add salt and pepper to get some taste and I now wish that I had ordered something else instead. The spicy pastrami sandwich was yummy with the heat coming from the jalapeño pieces, not the meat. Speaking of which, the pastrami was tender and tasted as expected. Apart from the mayo snafu, I have no complaints on the service. The sandwiches came out quickly and the prices were very reasonable. I think this place is a solid 4 based on today's visit. I'd recommend this joint if you want something hearty and value-priced especially if you have a craving in the middle of the night (it's apparently open 24/7).
